Mexichems major products have a large market in the most dynamic growth sectors in Mxico-construction, housing, potable water, and urban sewage systems -as well as in the United States and Latin America. We are extremely proud of our ongoing, active contribution to Mexicos development.

Mexichem is one of the worlds five most efficient chemical producers. We own Latin Americas most important chlorine, soda, and PVC plants, as well as the largest fluorspar mine in the world. We are the only vertically integrated chemical manufacturer in Mexico and are the largest vertically integrated hydrofluoric acid producer in North America.

The groups strategic position is currently focused on the chemical sector through two production chains: the vinyl-chlorine chain, which comprises Unin Minera del Sur, Cloro de Tehuantepec, Pennwalt, and Primex; and the fluorine chain, which includes Mexichem Flor. We also have a distribution chain for chemicals, plastics, and foods represented by Dermet de Mxico, S.A. de C.V.
