2004
June. We successfully closed the acquisition of Qumica Flor, S.A. de C.V. integrating its operation with Minera Las Cuevas, the main fluorspar producer in the world. With this acquisition we became the largest vertically integrated hydrofluoric acid producer in North America.
December. To complement our Chemicals and Plastics Division we acquired Grupo Primex, S.A. de C.V., the PVC market leader in Mexico.
